Green smoothies are full of vitamins and minerals, very alkalising and detoxifying. I like to keep things simple so I follow this formula-:
Ingredients:
2 cups Greens
- Choose from Spinach, Kale, Romaine, Bok Choy, Swiss Chard, Collards, Dandelion
2 cups Liquid
- Choose from Coconut Water or Milk, Water or Almond Milk.
3 cups Fruit
- Banana, Mango, Berries, Orange, Avocado, Peach, Pear, Apple, Pineapple, Grapes.
1 teaspoon Tea
- Choose from Detox, Glow, Digest, Immunity, Tummy Tone, Fortify or Spice Dream.
- Optional: 1 teaspoon of Superfood Green powder.
Method:
Blend leafy greens and liquid together first. Then add fruits, tea and superfood powder and blend all together.
